By decreasing the use of time, from 20 mins - 15 mins - 10 mins - 5 mins - 1 mins -10 secs, we get to feel not only the shorten time, but also different variance of materials, models, color, style, brushwork and brush strokes.

 

Brushwork can range from extremely smooth textures, to extremely thick (impasto), as in the various forms of expressionism, and what is called gestural.  Brushwork, like handwriting, can be highly individual and can be an important factor in identifying an artist’s work. It can also be highly expressive, that is, the application of the paint itself plays a role in conveying the emotion or meaning of the work.

Experiencing the various ways while exploring and reducing the limited time you spent, such as one stroke drawing, or paint with multiple pens at the same time, etc.  Actually, the less spare time I have, I get to paint and sketch chicly and with more spiritual aspects.
